Welcome to our first ever farm camp! This camp is a hands-on learning experience for children ages 5-8. We will be doing simple farm things like feeding the goats, ducks and donkeys, collecting the duck eggs, and watering the plants and animals. Then, our campers will get to plant their own plants, we will do a different craft each day and on the last day of camp from 11:30-12:30, campers can take their families on a tour of the farm and show them everything they worked on that week.
 
A few quick questions to answer:
Q: Will we be providing breakfast or lunch for the campers?
A: We will NOT be providing meals. We will have snacks and water for our campers but full meals will not be provided. Campers are welcome to bring a reusable water bottle and we will happily fill it as needed. (Parents/ guardians are required to notify us of any allergies!)
Q: Will campers be dirty when getting picked up?
A: This is a hands-on learning camp. We will be outdoors for the majority of the four hours of camp. We ask that the children wear shoes that can get dirty and if parents prefer sending in a change of clothes, you are welcome to!
Q: Will campers need protection from the elements?
A: We recommend sending your camper in some sort of sun protection and we can reapply as needed. We will have bug spray here for campers to use. Parents are welcome to send in anything they want their child to have but it is the child’s responsibility to keep track of their own belongings. (Gloves, sunglasses, boots, sunscreen, etc.)
Q: Are electronic devices allowed?
A: While we do not want electronic devices to be a distraction, we understand the security certain electronic devices bring to families. Please, no iPads, video games, or toys. Cameras and phones (for emergencies) are fine!
